Ahead privacy policy

Your agenda stays on your device.

RCR Solutions Ltd does not collect your calendar events, reminders or app preferences through Ahead. There is no account, advertising, analytics or tracking.

Information used by Ahead

With your permission, Ahead reads the calendars and reminder lists you select to build your agenda and show item details. These can include titles, dates, source and account names, notes, links, locations, priorities and repeat information. The app processes this information on your device and does not send it to RCR Solutions or third parties.

Apple offers no read-only access permission. Although the permission is called full access, Ahead never creates, edits, deletes or completes events or reminders. Calendar and Reminders permissions are independent, and you can revoke either in your device’s Settings.

Storage and Apple services

Ahead saves your selected source identifiers and names, horizon, named views, selected view and swipe preference on your device. It does not maintain its own persistent copy of your agenda. Removing Ahead removes its local preferences; your original events and reminders remain in Calendar and Reminders.

Your calendars and reminder lists may already sync through iCloud or another account provider configured on your device. That sync is managed by your device and provider, not by Ahead. Your iCloud or computer backups may include Ahead’s preferences. Those backups are managed by Apple’s device and backup services, not by Ahead.

Third-party software

Ahead uses native Apple frameworks and includes no third-party software development kits. It does not contain advertising or analytics tools.

Support and this website

If you use the separate Ahead support form, we receive your email address, message and any optional name or device context you provide. This is separate from the app. We use it to respond and maintain reasonable support records. Please avoid sending sensitive agenda content.

Support messages are stored on our server. Our hosting and security providers may process website requests and stored correspondence on our behalf. We use ntfy for a generic notification when messages arrive; the notification contains no sender details or message content. We do not sell this information. Retention and requests

We keep open enquiries while they need attention and automatically delete resolved messages after 180 days. You can request earlier deletion. Deleted records may remain in restricted backups for up to 30 days. Use the Ahead support form to contact RCR Solutions Ltd with a privacy question or request review or deletion of information you previously submitted. There is no Ahead account or remotely stored app data held by us to delete.
